We are thrilled to announce that due to overwhelming demand, the iconic cast of A Different World—the groundbreaking sitcom that shaped a generation—has announced a fall/winter leg of their groundbreaking A Different World HBCU College Tour, set to kick off at Bowie State University in Maryland on Thursday, October 17th, 2024!
More than just a nostalgic trip, the A Different World HBCU College Tour aims to inspire a new generation to enroll in HBCUs and raise vital scholarship funding. With stops planned across the nation through 2025, this tour is ensuring that the next generation has the opportunity to experience the transformative power of these institutions.

Now, we’re taking that legacy on the road, celebrating Historically Black Colleges and Universities across the nation and giving YOU the chance to be a part of history.
This tour is more than just a celebration of the past—it’s a bridge to the future. We’re creating unforgettable experiences on every campus, featuring cast reunions, live panels, exclusive screenings, and interactive discussions that dive deep into the issues that still resonate with us today. You’ll hear directly from the voices that shaped the show and helped shape our culture.
